Correct. Wednesday/Thursday time frame. GFS is just now coming on board, and the CMC came on board last night. Euro is showing a decent snow storm maybe around 5 inches or so. Though accumulations are a total guess right now.

Oh absolutely - don't get me wrong, everyone loves a little fun in the snow but I'll take it in equal portions. We have had sleet and snow on the ground covering the ground and roads for three days now, and as I mentioned everything is shut down..
At work I make about 200 a day, and my online business days 200 or so a day, but if I can't ship out orders and can't get my product here I'm screwed...
thats 400 per day x 3 so I've lost 1200 bucks plus, my boss tells me its likely we will be closed Friday, and Saturday.
So, financially, this is hurting.. However I guess I'll try to be postitive.. It could be worse. we could be without food/electricity/ health etc..
And on that end my family is in good shape
Sorry just a little vent there..

Over the past few days the forecast highs for the weekend have slowly trended down, according to local mets forecasts.

Newest HRRR is coming in extremely well for Houston so far. We'll see about the rest of us. It hasn't updated completely yet.

Radar is starting to show a few snow flurry returns here in Travis County but I haven't heard any actual reports yet of observed snow. Probably virga.

HRRR almost seems to have a hole over houston of no snow, lol. But I think this latest run is a good sign. It's showing heavier precip all around Houston. Then a band moving from San Antonio all the way back to the Texas/LA border moving north towards Austin and it's pretty decent moisture too.
