Wow, that explosion of convection is really impressive. If anything, this shows 91L is really starting to become better organized.

I am just an amateur and a "noob" at that so any speculations that I have made are just that, uneducated speculations. Please refer to the NHC for accurate information.
Thank you all for your thoughts, I've loved reading through this community since '06 and finally decided to post more actively.

Amazing convective expansion, look at how the convection has relocated from the old MLC through to the LLC...just as we've been saying for the last 24hrs Aric!!

With the curved rainband trailing near the mean convective mass and extending into the extreme southeastern Caribbean, the structure looks like a convection embryo on latest frames

And here comes Emily. Completely understandable why the NHC waited till more recon data came in - indicated more westerly winds to the southwest of the LLC, and also allowed the convection to expand, showing that it wasn't just a transient feature. Now the real fun begins, good luck and stay safe to everyone in Emily's path!

Yep stronger on this run and weaker ridging equals a further east run...

Means little in isolation however people, remember that...I'd like to see a few more model runs first from different models showing something similar (NOT just based off the GFS) before seeing if there is a east trend.

Doesn't necessarily bode well for when there is serious action and traffic; potentially in the next few days and certainly over the next 2+ months.

Donations are what keeps this site going. I popped over a small donation the other day and if everyone else did (and many, many have) it would possibly pay for another server if needed for the heavy periods such as this. Our website now has 5 servers and if it was not for donationns

So help Storm2k out by hitting that paypal button :D
