Yeah, this is NUTS!! And there are people on the Kadena Air Base Questions page getting pissy about anyone without a meteorological degree passing along info....Well, I have to say, the info we have passed along has been far more accurate than their meteorologically trained folks who said we would soon be in 1-R.

I would not be surprised if the peak gusts from the entire storm are yet to come in this feeder band...

Wish we could give texas some of this rain..we have had 15 inches in 2 days...winds close to 90l...which here 90 was the highest wind gust....and it LOOKS like this storm stalled out again so it maybe like this for awhile!

Yeah, now THIS is intense...I would get video, but if I opened a window to videotape, stuff would go flying everywhere. Maybe I'll take the camera in a quiet room and get the sound of the gusts. LOL

Just be prepared this is gonna last awhile according to that image. It has some pretty strong cells in it, it appears. You are in the eyewall.

I was a little startled they may be going to 1R, the outer eyewall is now hitting..

Seeing sustained at 60kts with gust to 81kts being recorded right now at Kadena RODN.

This is why people say the eye is dangerous, yes the winds went down but the more intense part was still to come.. .
