Whats the deal with these disclaimers anyway? If this is a forum for talking about Hurricanes then obviously discussion about landfall/intensity comes into play most times. If the public wants to find official statements they know the NHC is the place to find it. Not a rant but just something that's been bugging me.

another feeder running down the coast, that one a couple of hours ago caused street flooding, ;less wind today than yesterday...record heat building in this weekend on the back side of Irene, shouldnt have any problem generating thunderstorms this weekend
