Way way less. Not even close. If you're speaking of the foot that storm had a e/se wind with a screaming subtropical jet in cold air. This is all northerly/NWerly. We'll be lucky if anything on radar reaches the ground because of the dry air moving in.

Amarillo put up winter storm warnings, which might indicate there's been more snow for that region than they probably expected. If it holds together well our friends in Oklahoma could get some surprises.

It's a different set-up. Also some models were predicting heavier amounts of snow for that event. No models have shown anything more than a dusting for tonight.

Just not enough moisture.

CANNOT COMPLETELY RULE OUT A SMALL CHANCE FOR SOME LIGHT SNOW TO
OCCUR. IF THIS WERE TO OCCUR...THE MOST LIKELY LOCATIONS TO
RECEIVE LIGHT SNOW WOULD BE EAST OF INTERSTATE 35 AND NORTH OF

I'm obsessed with weather and winter weather and am an amateur so hopefully I'll learn some new things so bare with me! I'm located in north Carrollton in Denton county and hoping we can get some action here tonight. Sure would be nice to see some flakes fall, especially this early in the season even if it's just some flurries! Crossing my fingers and watching closely
