Hi Wendy. It looks like Dorian is trying to make a comeback. The next recon flies out in about 1 hour. Many of the models bring it close to our location so its something to watch.

Yes, the old one was doing fairly well in its mid range forecast better than euro and GEM/CMC, IMO.

Bones can say its returned from the dead without even having to go through the mental gymnastics required in Star Trek 3. Is there anything in the models that would turn it before Florida if this does reform?

826 PM EDT SUN JUL 28 2013

.UPDATE...
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE OVER THE INTERIOR THIS EVENING...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS LAKE OKEECHOBEE. SHOWERS AND STORMS SHOULD DIMINISH OVER
THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO WITH LOSS OF DAYTIME HEATING. A FEW SHOWERS
OR STORMS MAY MOVE TOWARDS THE EAST COAST OVERNIGHT WITH THE
SOUTHEAST FLOW OVER THE ATLANTIC. OTHERWISE...IT WILL BE PARTLY
CLOUDY AND SEASONABLY WARM.

IN REGARDS TO THE REMNANTS OF DORIAN...THE NHC HAS INCREASED THE
CHANCE OF REGENERATION TO 50 PERCENT OVER THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
THE REMNANTS OF DORIAN ARE FORECAST TO MOVE IN THE GENERAL
DIRECTION OF THE FLORIDA STRAITS OR SOUTH FLORIDA BY THE MIDDLE TO
END OF THIS WEEK. INTERESTS IN SOUTH FLORIDA ARE ENCOURAGED TO
MONITOR THE PROGRESS OF THIS SYSTEM OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS AND
STAY TUNED TO UPDATED FORECASTS ON THIS FEATURE.
