the reason the NAVGEM brings it up the coast is the ridge is destroyed by a ridge killing short wave....might be over doing it a tad...

brings a weak system inland...not much time over water. regardless heavy rainfall appears main threat here.

The EC keeps it over the water for a good 2-3 days. It simply does not develop it (as has been its trend all year)

Doesn't make a diff SFLcane, but yes, you have 9/10 12z. Check the initialize time on yours compared to the one I just posted. No biggie.

all depends where the llc forms, euro shows some interesting features though on other so called potential systems.

Like the GFS it backed away from mid-west trof. Not much to drag north from what i can see.
edit.. BOC systems can tend to spin rather quickly if given time over water so best to keep tabs on it.
