If we are being honest, NAVGem isn't very good.

the reason the NAVGEM brings it up the coast is the ridge is destroyed by a ridge killing short wave....might be over doing it a tad... :D

I'm thinking it might be overdoing it by more than a tad.

How much did it shift north? Does it now have it making landfall halfway between Tampico and Brownsville?

brings a weak system inland...not much time over water. regardless heavy rainfall appears main threat here.

Didn't see much on the EURO main site. Stays weak.

The EC keeps it over the water for a good 2-3 days. It simply does not develop it (as has been its trend all year)

Doesn't make a diff SFLcane, but yes, you have 9/10 12z. Check the initialize time on yours compared to the one I just posted. No biggie.

all depends where the llc forms, euro shows some interesting features though on other so called potential systems.

Like the GFS it backed away from mid-west trof. Not much to drag north from what i can see.

edit.. BOC systems can tend to spin rather quickly if given time over water so best to keep tabs on it.
