A LARGE BUT DISORGANIZED AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND THUNDERSTORMS
EXTENDS FROM THE LESSER ANTILLES EASTWARD FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED

ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL STORM FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED THROUGH

The shear looks to be too high at the moment for that wave from the islands to develop. Give it another 2-3 days and something could happen.

from another post elsewhere in the vast land of the WWW . . . . .

. . . . .but the gulf season is getting started early with a brand new tropical depression. right now, it's in the western gulf off brownsville moving north east at about 5 mph.

. . .

in fact, this development process is so rapid today, that even the nhc hasn't had time to post this depression.

Anyone else see this?
