Now will the Euro cave and come around to little to no development or will it stick to its guns?

I see east shifts so this makes sense

:uarrow: Yeah so far since yesterday I have noticed a small trend eastward, as shown above. The next EURO run should be very interesting indeed.

I've had to delete numerous off topic posts and needless one liners.

If the clutter in here keeps up warnings will be issued and posting privileges may be suspended to those who continue to clutter up the model forum with needless banter.

I think it's safe to say this run of the HWRF can be tossed into the can. :Can: At 96 hours it has it all the remnants of the vort all the way down by South America.

Trying to compare some of the synoptic set-ups between the GFS and Euro.

GFS continues to cut off the trough in the western Atlantic and retrograde it southwest. Euro eventually cuts off the trough but much further east.

Example for Saturday evening, the GFS is much further west with the ULL. Probably bringing increased shear and sinking air into the SW Atlantic. Euro is much further SE with the cut-off low.

48 hours, weaker and faster on the 12Z ECMWF, shift west so far. Might be caving to the GFS?

Just in the short term, a lot of the run left to go.

Wasn't the GFS further and slower north?
