I got home last night from California after a 9 day trip. Hit some heavy rain on way to Reno airport from the Sierras to the west. According to car during downpour just inside Nevada border, dropped from 102 degrees to 67 degrees in a matter of a few minutes!
Windy and gusty around the storms, trash and tumblweed flying around, pushing car around! Was telling Mrs. Weatherdude i felt like I was storm chasing! She gave me a look, and said to be careful.
That was a neat experience being in those monsoon-type rains.
Come home to find over an inch in the rain gauge since we left, grass looking lush! Very nice.
Looks like good chances the next several days! Nice welcome.
