Not only the 113 SFMR, but the 939.9 is actually very worrisome, thinking that this might of had some more pressure drops and keeping the same wind speed.

SFMR may not be too reliable in the shoals and bays, although it can't be completely discounted it shouldn't be weighted too much as there is more uncertainty than usual.

Looking at the satellite that TWC was just showing looked like he might be doing a small loop over Rockport.

yeah,, the flight level are all up there still as well.. matches with radar as well.. has not weakened yet.

Sorry I have never heard that before unless they were flagged, and if I remember an 01 flag is not for SFMR.

They're over very shallow waters right now, and SFMR sometimes has issues there, but it lines up well still with the flight level winds from the recent passes. I'd lean towards this reading being legit.

Well the IR appearance is holding steady which is surprising. Not a good sign as it slowly drifts inland. I wonder if the reason the models keep this decently strong over land for days is due to all the water it drops and proximity to shore, the brown ocean effect?

And all that means everything that got weakened by those 130 MPH (150 MPH Gust) winds, will now have stress of winds from a totally different direction which will cause a lot more catastrophic damage, and if there are people that are already driving around in the eye that is a very bad thing.
