I think the center did re-form in the middle of the expsnding CDO. Michael is looking quite impressive and is really ramping up. It is on the cusp of being a hurricane right now.

That was from information from the first pass before finding stronger winds on the eastern quadrant.

Are you thinking something like this, in the absence of more recon info?

Slow information coming back from the recon is killing me, waiting for the new pass before going back to bed.

It is taking them a long while to submit the next pass. I am trying to hang in here, but I have such a busy day ahead with preps and monitoring Michael. Got to get a little sleep I guess soon.

Yep, sleep and preps are going to be more important for you over the next 24-36 hrs. Update in between, it's close enough for you to start basic preps in the morning. Prepare for the worst and relax after it's done.

Whoa what a drop. If that center is indeed under all that convection then this storm is really ramping up now!

Well that is bad news... probably a mb or so lower. Strengthening quickly. You all get some sleep I'll take over the worrying shift.

Michael is within 6 hours of becoming a hurricane, at the most. IMO.
