Short term, hi res models suggest widely scattered wintry mix into late afternoon and then dying off. I think the more concentrated stuff will be in the Hill Country and to our north.

Radar shows quite a bit of light precip to your southwest (Austin). It also has a good bit of moisture heading for the D-FW area.

I do hope it happens, I'd love an excuse to leave work early........driving from central Dallas to Grapevine with sleet and snow, even though it doesn't stick its bound to make PM traffic a cluster.
