For real though. Looking st recon sampling the surrounding environment... that is some seriously dry mid levels. Amazing how this is producing so much convection.

Alao looks likes its about to explode again.

If it helps as a reminder that Dorian is used as a male name in this case, recall that it replaced Dean after the 2007 season.

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

Still firing new convection despite the extremely dry air. If the system’s history is anything to go off of this will precede a replacement of the convection.

This is probably one of the best ventilated systems I have ever seen.
Tons of towers now firing off in a very short time.
IMHO, RI not out of the question.

A couple of towers is not "a ton". RI is not happening until this thing can establish a core. If the GFS is on to something it is more likely to collapse than RI in the next 48 hrs. Given the amount of dry air in midlevels, a collapse is not out of the question.
