Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

The tiny eye is wobbling a lot so very possible its much faster than estimated...

The November record is impossible to determine, since the 1932 hurricane had a 915 mb reading OUTSIDE the eye with hurricane conditions. That could have easily been a sub-900 storm.

Fantastic news as it could be possible for Eta to strengthen all night till landfall!

I remember there was a bit of disappointment that Patricia peaked in between recon flights so thankfully for Eta we should know exactly how deep this goes!!
