Just absolutely nuts what is going on. DFW was 4" at midnight before the last batch came through and if I've gotten 2-3 inches more from it, clearly they got some too. But again the snow recording/data at the airport is just .

First blackout was 90 min. The second one about half an hour. I have a giant AGM battery with a kWh of capacity to smooth things out. Charge it while power is on, run the inverter during blackouts

There have been people reporting the same incidents sporadically in far North Dallas as well. I think it's just poorly timed/implemented on top of the fact that at the same it is so cold once they do it, equipment can fail. You have something running like butter and all of a sudden trip it. Snow and wind (DFW still gusting over 30mph) is not helping!

Same here -- just east of downtown Dallas. There is a fire station a couple streets away so maybe I’m on some kind of protected grid?

FWIW if you decide to venture out to see the additional snow depth wind chills are -10 to -15F. That's dangerous so make sure every bit is covered up. Or better yet don't go out until the sun makes an appearance.

ERCOT has ordered rolling black outs for various locales across Texas. Just be aware and prepared. And of course as some tweeters and some of our members have pointed it as not been consistent.

Didnt switch to snow till 5am. Moderate when it did fall. 16F. What a night. The wind was intense. I havent seen the streets covered down here since 1989. Beautiful.
