It would be really really hard to get much over 40 here. 40 below normal for the daily average would be 13 degree daily in MoCo. In Dallas I believe it would be 4 degrees. Good luck with 58 below average.

Finally in 3k NAM range. 18z hits the northern burbs of DFW "pretty hard" with temps 33/34F. Obviously, areas NW of DFW up into Oklahoma do much better.

Those types of departures always seem to stay way further north from Kansas into the Dakotas. You can see the 30-40°F departures here but not ever really anything more than that.

NWS increased the accumulation percentages for DFW. Dallas county in the mix now with an increase for Denton and Tarrant. Slowly moving southeast. Keep it coming.
