Guess it depends on where you live, my NWS point forecast is highs in the upper 70s to low 80s every day with rain chances.

Plan was always October. Rest of the month will still be above normal temps for most of the state, especially the southern half.
Maybe average rainfall at best. Better chances for rain in the panhandle.

Hopefully they'll win when I am up there!lol Don't know much about Tarleton State, since we didn't ever play them when I went up there since it was a different conference at the time. Looks like they'll be in on the wet and temps in the 70s for highs!
