Looks like it's coming ashore sooner than anyone thought. Is this still going to turn East? Worried up north.

They had a tornado that came through that area. I watched the coverage on the local news WFTV. It covered at least a 51 mile stretch south to north.
Serious?? HOLY CRAP! Since when has there been a tornado in Florida that impacted 50 miles?? I never have. Was there any video caught of that tornado?

Just like Jon Snow..."I know nothing" except what I know, and most of what I know is gathered by the fine people of the NHC

Seems my father in laws home may have taken a direct hit from the large tornado that moved through The Acreage in Palm Beach County.

Looks that way to my own untrained eye to me too. Looks like almost due east.
Ryan Hall is saying that the surge is coming up fast in Naples and also Port Charlotte.

I'll buy that. Amateur observation eyeball only, definitely some 70 mph+ gusts. Larger branches starting to fly off trees. South Sarasota.

Interesting that it looks like the strongest FL winds are on the south side of the circulation when the north side looks much better on radar.
