Atmosphere is pretty stable with temps stuck in the 60's didn't help our cause either.
Having said that, a good portion of the area has received 1-2 inches with some isolated higher totals in a few locations. One thing I'm watching on radar is a blob of heavier rain near Eagle Pass. Hopefully that will move further NE and provide some additional rainfall this evening/overnight before the system begins to clear the area tomorrow.
Agreed that today has been disappointing but not unexpected with the persistent heavy rain across deep south TX. Still we could see more tonight into tomorrow, and much of the area has already seen 1-2 inches so far! I'm thankful...even if we don't see anymore it's been a very beneficial event!
