Yeah but think about it....when have you seen thousands killed from Saddam? How about those chemicals.....have we seen those either? NO. Thats a little exaggerated in thinking that we need to take Saddam out after 12 years of play time NOW opposed to doing it sooner. Why now?
Just because he is making pledges like always? Osama bombed us, Saddam just talks alot of hot air for attention. Get the facts....Afghanistan's leader attacked us and Saddam gets attacked for what he claims to say.
Oh well...I'm not in the war, so I'm just a spectator like the rest, but I dont see why we need to put our military up against a person who just wont go down lightly and just costs more and more money to fight these idiots.
On top of that we have to help the other poor bastards over there who grow up not knowing right from wrong and seek our guidance, only to possibly become terrorists and flip the coin later. Its a big power game, but I still think that Saddam is weak for the most part and isolated and not a threat to our mainland.
Osama proved that we are vulnerable and we didnt get him either, probably never will. So what will going after Saddam solve for us? That we can 'disarm' him? Big deal...he's got more crap buried and enough finances to do this over and over again...what does it take?
We will be killed trying to kill one man and someone else is waiting for that to happen over there as well, so they can step up to the plate. This is a vicious cycle and will never end, no matter how long we live.
