False... one of his customers left his shop, filled up at Exxon and it started running bad. He had to remove the gas tank and drain it. Then he had to flush the injectors out until they pump themselves back up. Sometimes water can weaken the injector causing it to leak.
The only way water can get into a gas tank by your statement Helen is if someone deliberatley filled the tank with water using a water hose.
