Check out the big brain on Mike! Nice analysis Mike!!!!
Yesterday, I was pretty sure it was a FISH system (it is the F storm, right?)
So, I still think there is a chance for Frances to be a fish, but todays
images look like the trough may not pick up Frances in time for
the next ridge to block gains in latitude.

think it's going to become cat5 and hit miami... then back out
and still cat 5 hit jacksoneville... head southwest and emerge
in the gulf as a cat2 but quicky regain cat 5 status. Then go to
new orleans cat5... then back up into the gulf... still cat5... goes
to houston and rakes the coast down to corpus then back into the
gulf.. still cat5... then heads strait for tampa... but at the last moment
it swerves south and comes ashore near ft myers... after that...
i have know idea... it's hard to forcast beyond 2 weeks...

This is my first comments on Frances. I have looked over everyone's comments, the models, NHC discussions, map projections and would like to make a suggestion.
I would like to suggest that we all begin a prayer for our friends in the Islands, then the Bahamas, and then the East Coast. If we only looked at historical data, we would list these people as in the highest risk. Then, those of us that live in hurricane prone areas should help reinforce to our media people that a projected path is a "WHOLE ZONE" and not one small target. Maybe, they will listen and help NHC get people to be ready.
As we all know, things can change overnight with these storms due to fluctuations that "I personally don't think we understand yet" and a path or more importantly an intensity can change.
Now, as for me, I am restocking my hurricane supplies for a 10 day period, from a 7 day period. If this thing gets as strong as it looks like it could and stays that way, help could be a long time coming.

EVERYONE CALM THE YOU KNOW WHAT DOWN!
To say that this is am emergency at the present time for the east coast is one of the most foolish things I have ever heard, even more so that "I didn't inhale" or "I did not have sexual relations with that woman"
We all need to get some sense of reality and realize that this wont impact the u.s. east coast until next friday at the earliest

Please forgive me. I did not mean to imply that this was an emergency. I am in EMS. If anything gets near, I will be too busy at work to do much else and I have to prepare early. I am only suggesting, that if Frances gets near the US, people should be reminded to look at the whole area that could be hit, not just one small point. That way more people will be prepared. Again I apologize if my comments created any problems.
