Hints of 1996, eerily similar time-wise, stormwise. LOOK :/

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Happens. Not sure what to say about it, just "very interesting."

Someone may have something to say in the coming hours.

It sure is a fast loop. It takes some times getting used to the two systems moving parallel to and up the eastern seaboard.

maybe I should clarify- the first system was hurricane edouard and the 2nd one was of course Fran. I don't know, but a couple days ago I had a feeling this type of setup was going to occur.

Certainly is too early to tell if such a similar occurrence will occur.

Actually, there's nothing terribly "eerie" about it at all, given the general climatology. It's just a reflection of an active CV season. It ain't called "Hurricane Alley" for nothing!
