I agree about tomorrow. I think that will be the "make or break" point. My mother-in-law went through Andrew in South Dade area and she told me this morning that she hasn't felt this nervous about a storm in a long time

I think it can go even further south tomorrow, probably not much more, but I do expect it to shift just a tad more south. Frances is up to her nasty little tricks again! All southern and central FL residents should begin preperations immediately.

In my seventeen years of life I have not been through a hurricane, not even a tropical storm; except when Hurricane Irene moved through Havana, but because it was during the night, and the winds neither the rain where strong, I didn't feel it. But this time looks to be different, the storm is several times stronger and larger. Like I always say, "Lets hope for the best, and prepare for the worse".

Hurakan
If the "winds and rain" were not that strong, you were probably not "in" the hurricane but maybe on the outskirts, Believe me, there is a huge difference. A hurricane carries winds of 75+mph so you wouldn't have just missed it. Don't let that deter you from understanding the sheer power of a hurricane, especially a cat 4 (or should I even hesitate to say cat 5?)

Irene was nothing compared to this. The "eye" went right over my parents' house. They didn't even lose cable TV, let alone power.
