I am here in Fort Lauderdale and I am looking at the radar and it looks like she is moving wet and the eye is closed. I am not even close to knowing all that those on these boards do, so I am asking for assitance here, just looking at radar and wondering.
We are getting blasted right now.

I still don't know if that is an "eye" more than a rather broad center of location. It looks to be about 60 miles across. I don't see anything to indicate an eyewall on the latest recons. The latest infrared image shows a warmer area at the center of rotation but it is long and elongated with no hint of being circular.

I cant see it on any satellite photos.. But on radar, its unmistakeable.

Its official.
Miami WSR-88D radar shows that Frances has developed a large eye of
about 70 nmi in diameter. Satellite images suggest that the cloud
pattern is a little better organized and recon suggests that an
eyewall may be forming. However...initial intensity continues at 90
knots and because the hurricane has about 12 to 18 more hours over
warm waters and the shear may relax...there is an opportunity for
strengthening before landfall.
