Should become a hurricane within next few days, I don't think it will be as strong as the big three though (Charley, Frances, Ivan).

OK...does anyone think she will make it to land in US? Looks like (totally unprofessional obeservation!) she may turn NE and go away. Any opinions?

Could be close. Ridging to the n/ne should draw it towards land but then weakness creating by Ivan could pull the system into the classic n then ne-ward turn that skirts the coast (especially NC). Only question is to see what Ivan does in relation to a possible stall over the SE and whether it'll move far enough ne-ward to create that weakness for Jeanne.

DT thinks Florida landfall...huge trough in the west will cause huge ridge in the east and bend Jeanne towards Florida.

This would be the first prediction that I have seen anywhere that I will absolutely depend on!

I also think this will be the 4th {or 5th depending on Ivan} system to affect Fla this year..

Not -removed- at all.. But it just seems this year we have a target on our back
