Big question is wether the ridge wil extend west to keep it on a WNW course after 48 hours, or will DT and JB eat crow. Models have shifted right but that may change again. DTs last comment was that it shouldn't make it north of 30N without a bend toward the west. Joe B has it going into the GOM, then LA. I'm siding toward DT, but not the extreme left like JB. We'll see.

What? How could he possible know that already? The NHC looks like it has Jean more of a threat to the Carolinas. I don't think it will get in the gulf. But, maybe we should keep our boards up just in case.
