Transfomers blowing out...
I'm in West Palm by the Villages and I just noticed a number of green flashes followed by booms (looking to the north and east). I think transformers are blowing out all over the area. Just wanted to post this before I lose power...

Geez, I am between Orlando and Titusville, and the power is now going out all around us. Sigh, here we go again............

Yes you are 100% correct. We were standing on my breezeway tonight watching transformer after transformer blow out.
First you can see a blue/green flash...a beautiful color against the sky I might add...just beautiful.
Then...a few seconds later...there is a BZZZT BZZZT sound from the power arc.
I wonder why they don't just shut the whole darn grid down until the storm passes.
