Everyone will stay up 24/7 to watch every decimal of pressure change and await every reading from the nonstop recon planes. They will continue to watch satillite loops over and over till their eyes cross, they fall out of their chairs exhausted, and allow the rest of our space army to land and take over the planet!

You know... it's interesting how this buoy was deployed on June 6th. Eight days later to goes adrift.

hmm...interesting....most likely faulty install then...at least that would be what i would guess...but in all actuality...i like the other ideas we have come up with on her so much better:)

oh thats a good one to...and btw...just my two cents about that show...i loved it the whole season and then i got real irritated about how the season ended...anyways....yes...all wonderful ideas...any one of them could very easily be the true one

Everyone knows that when something unexplainable happens in the tropics, it makes life so much easier to point the finger at the remnants of Ivan. =)

I have enjoyed reading this thread! :lol: However, this is not the first buoy to go adrift. The Buoy 70 miles South of Dauphin Island was set adrift during hurricane Ivan. I think they was actually getting readings from the Southeast Gulf at one time.

If I'm not mistaken, there are about a dozen, roughly, buoys that are adrift at this time.
