We're getting a couple down here. We had a nice little boomer that passed just to the north of us yesterday, and looking at the radar, it looks like they're already popping this morning.

It's rained here about 4 times in the last 12-14 hours. That's the same vortex that was off SW FL last week, crossed the state, retrograded west and kinda stuck around. As far as the pattern, don't let ULL's fool you into thinking you can't have tropical development near one. It all depends on positioning.
