Is TD 3 Splitting?

Both the NAM and GFS shows TD3 splitting, the northern half moving toward the North Central Gulf Coast, and the other toward the upper Texas coast. The NHC did mention a circulation to the north. On satellite Imagery it appears the northern Circulation is pulling convection to it. Just thought I would mention what I see. thanks.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that a good part of TD 3 will be inland into Florida this afternoon.

Just watched several sat presentations and is does appear to be splitting or relocating more to the NE. As the NHC states it is elongating N-S. Interesting to see where the center emerges and what recon finds later today.

It might be splitting but I think its not it just look a mess because its overland, but once back in the gulf, I think the system will start to wrap up nicely so by this afternoon or evening you might be looking at a whole different system.

i think this will have a significant affect on model runs. I think South Cent LA to Tampa need to be watching closely.. the Center seems to ne of forcast track and seems to be moving NNW already.

I agree that it does look to be moving NNW right now but looking on water vapor you can clearly see that this system is not going to turn back towards flordia with that high pressure over there and yes the system is already to the right of the 4a.m. track.
