I think the problem people are having is they they are used to a recurve, IE once the storm trends NNW -> N -> NNE it doesnt go back. If you extrapolate the motion now, it will hit the panhandle. What people probably need to realize is that this storm has a higher probability to trend back westward... so untill a definite pattern emerges, wobbles to the north and west are just that.... but they will affect the eventual landfall site none-the-less.
