Wind Direction (WDIR): E ( 100 deg true )
<b> Wind Speed (WSPD): 25.3 kts
Wind Gust (GST): 31.1 kts </b>
Wave Height (WVHT): 9.8 ft
Dominant Wave Period (DPD): 8 sec
Average Period (APD): 5.9 sec
Atmospheric Pressure (PRES): 29.91 in

these are the Latest readings...East wind has steadily increased past 24 hours, pressure has been in the 29.88-29.91 vacinity, also note this buoy is east of the convective blowup.

I'm located in Georgetown, Exuma, Bahamas at the moment (not Nassau like my Location says). I'd roughly estimate myself to be right around ~150 miles south of TD6. Currently seeing winds of about 25kts, gusting over 30kts from the SW. No rain.

My thoughts:

I think the SW Carib. system may be about to really do something. It has excellent outflow, an anticyclone is above it, shear not bad, and water temps still good. Don't let the convection blowoff fool you. There is more to the south, event though it is linear right now, the mid level circulation looks like it is getting better organized and it's just a matter of time before we have a low level closed low.

And I don't know what to do with Franklin yet....
