My thoughts:
I think the SW Carib. system may be about to really do something. It has excellent outflow, an anticyclone is above it, shear not bad, and water temps still good. Don't let the convection blowoff fool you. There is more to the south, event though it is linear right now, the mid level circulation looks like it is getting better organized and it's just a matter of time before we have a low level closed low.
And I don't know what to do with Franklin yet....
