Franklin Forecast Verifications

I posted an earlier version of the first chart which contained my forecast cone (red and green dots). Today, I've updated it to indicate the NHC's cone (blue dots) and Franklin's actual movement (yellow dots):

I just wanna double check... your updating your forecast right? Sorry I know that sounds like a dumb questions but i'm having problems with the sat graphics today on my puter... they are looking wierd for some reason.

Well, obviously the ridge wasn't strong enough to compel a period of due-west movement, so as update was in order. Meanwhile, model consensus remains addicted to NE solutions.

Thanks... problems are on my end.. need to do some puter maintenance I've been putting off because my puter will have to go offline for a large block of hours. :wink:

Call me nuts, but I think Franklin has a fair-to-middlin' shot of being a hurricane on Thursday.
