Tropical Book Recommendations?
I want to learn as much about tropical storms/canes as possible, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any learning resources? I know this board is a great tool, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any great book resources out there? That way I can understand terminology and processes better on here relating to tropical activity.

I have the book Hurricane Watch
you learn a bit more history than the physics and all of development but I found it rather fascinating...
It was written by Dr Bob Sheets (former director of the National Hurricane Center) and Jack Williams (Founding Editor of the USA Today Weather Page)
---I'm quoting the front cover lol
(c) 2001 and 15 bucks US...

Barnes puts out some very good work. I have the NC version, but I need to get the latest version.
A book I have is Hurricanes! by Peter R. Chaston. It's very informative for the novice and those who know a lot. A lot of technical info.
Also, check HERE. A lot of books and articles listed.
