Believe it or not we have a LLC that has formed. The bouy wind directions show it nicely.
Wind directions range from E off the Carolinas, to W north of the Bahamas, to NNW of N CEntral FLA, to NE along GA Coast.
VIS satellite indicates the LL rotation with convection over the center.
SE Coast should watch this closely today. I expect the 10:30AM TWO to mention this area.

11:30 TWO Segment on system
Another weak area of low pressure is generating showers and
thunderstorms from the South Carolina coast southeastward for a
couple hundred miles. Upper-level winds are favorable for
development...but this system is expected to move northwestward and
inland before significant development can occur. An Air Force
Reserve unit reconnaissance aircraft will be available to
investigate this system tomorrow morning...if necessary.

Gaston?
Is this to be another Gaston?
Don't be ready to call TD #9 Irene yet. This LLC could be Irene. A post said that 9 will get her name. It could be his name.

It's a 1016mb low. Then there's the 1014 in the Gulf where the surface low is interacting with an Upper Low nosing in creating probably the best banding we've seen there in a week.
