Well I wouldn't mind seeing more rain. "Ivan" has only given us .46" today and it's turning out to be a BIG non event unless things change. It can't even sustain a rainband for more than an hour or so.

Okay... here's the deal folks. (Check the FNMOC page... this confirms this)

93L merged with Lisa. FNMOC has dropped this system.

94L became Ivan. FNMOC also confirms this.

A new area of interest (ie GOM, etc) would be 95L.

Well we're in a moderate drought so we really needed a rain event.

Nothing at all Stormcenter. In fact, all this is a very interesting topic. I hoped I was adding value by pointing out more data on the same topic. Relax.

Did anyone bother to notice that the pics for "94L" have had 26.4N 88.8W 1010mb and 25kts SINCE YESTERDAY? (Look at the "previous" archive of pics.)

Also there have been NO 94L model runs since NHC went official with "Ivan."

It's just the old Ivan INVEST; NRL never took it down when NHC decided 94L was Ivan and started official advisories.

Thank you! That's what I've been trying to tell folks, mainly in this thread: http://www.storm2k.org/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=47187

Another prime example of how checking the date/time stamp and knowing how a center produces their products is paramount.

Whatever is out there in the middle of the GOM odds are it will head to Florida as a major storm.
